I have been growing and harvesting plants and herbs for over 25 years. I apprenticed with Rosemary Gladstar of Sage Mountain School in S. Barre, Vt. and Gail Ulrich from Blazing Star School in Shelburne Falls, Mass. I studied with Christopher Hobbs, David Hoffmann , Dr. Tieronna Lowdog, Matthew Wood, 7Song and many other Herbalists over the years. I served on the Board of the North East Herbal Association for several years and worked on the NEHA newsletter committee.
I have conducted many workshops in the Northeast including ones for Glens Falls Hospital and Mary McClellan Hospital. I teach about herbs at the Nursing Program, SUNY Adirondack College, Queensbury, NY. I have worked as an Herbalist in a physician office, and now have an office at the Shirt Factory in Glens Falls, NY where I offer Herbal Consultations, Reflexology and Energy Work. I have an herb shop where I carry high quality bulk herbs and herbal products. I am here on Tuesday and Thursdays afternoons to answer questions about using plants. I schedule my appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I am here most days and if someone needs to pick up some herbs just call and come over.
There is an increasing interest in using plants as medicine especially in the last couple of years as people start using them and have very positive experiences.
In addition to my love of plants, I have studied many types of energy work. I studied Reflexology, the energies systems of Donna Eden, Matrix Energentics, Reconnections and Reiki.
